Tim Byers: Jacobs to support USAF B-21 program under Army services contract


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 6, 2021 – Jacobs (NYSE: J) has secured a place on a potential seven-year, $ 200 million multi-task order contract awarded by the Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers for the architecture and engineering services in support of the Air Force’s B-21 bomber, ExecutiveBiz reported on June 25.

Tim Byers, senior vice president of federal and environmental solutions at Jacobs, said the company will help the military improve the aircraft’s resilience and durability by building on lessons learned from previous defense-related projects.

Individual orders worth up to $ 50 million will be issued under MATOC for work related to the B-21 at Ellsworth, Dyess and Whiteman air bases.
