OJR’s Krumrine wins prestigious Gary Reeser Memorial Award – Daily Local
POTTSTOWN — Passionate. Devoted. Team player. These are all words used to describe Jaclin Krumrine, recipient of the 2022 Gary E. Reeser Memorial Award from the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO). This award honors an outstanding member who has demonstrated professionalism, leadership and innovation in the field of school affairs management.
Krumrine was nominated for the Gary E. Reeser Memorial Award for her work in forming an emergency food program that accepts donations to stock a food bank that responds to emergencies and helps students and families in need. As Chief Financial Officer of the Owen J. Roberts School District (OJRSD), Krumrine has led OJRSD’s tax operations for the past 23 years.
“Jackie is an outstanding leader within our district,” said Dr. Will Stout, Superintendent of OJRSD. “She leads with the highest degree of professional ethics, moral leadership and sound business principles associated with accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial reporting and financial planning.”
“Receiving this award means a lot to me because it’s an achievement award based on recognition from your peers,” Krumrine said. “It is an honor and a privilege to follow those who have already received this award. PASBO is an organization that promotes professional development and the highest standards in school business operations and I am very proud to be part of this organization and to be recognized for this award.
Krumrine was a member of PASBO’s Board of Directors from 2014-2017 and President, Vice-President, Secretary and Coordinator of the Chapter’s mentorship program.
She led her school district in developing and implementing an energy conservation plan, which resulted in her receiving the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s “Moving to the Head of the Class Award” in 2015.
