#nostraightlines @ sxsw
March 18th, 2010Thank you to everyone that came along to my presentation @sxsw. Reviewing the twitter feeds #nostraightlines, the majority of the audience it seems felt I had made a real contribution to the event.
Some people even said it was the best presentation they had seen @sxsw. And that was deeply gratifying as I do work quite hard in trying to make such events worthwhile. Great big thinking. A perfect ending to #sxsw was nice, and, Forward thinking on why we’ve been missing social on the web so much, and a hint of how much it’s going to explode. #nostraightlines
Perhaps the funniest was that I sounded like a character from a Guy Ritiche movie – does that mean I sound like Vinne Jones?
Some people have asked for the deck – which I am happy to send – but in many ways without me speaking they are a mere collection of pretty if arresting images – but the good news is that my voice was recorded for a podcast which Hugh Forrest tells me will be available soon.
If you would like more information on the book No Straight Lines: an advanced living course for the networked society please get in touch and we can get you fixed up with some stuff.
Once again, thank you to all those people that came along.
