Mobile communities – how to do it right

Mike Butcher mentions communities dominate brands in a post about mobile communities.

Mike says

Kenetworks is a fantastic little mobile development agency in Stockholm who excited me about the potential for mobile to drive communities, and therefore communities to drive brands . Meeting Gustav Soderström in the bar of the Lydmar Hotel was great fun and he took me through, step by step, the service they have come up, which currently runs on Playahead, a huge youth community site in Sweden. There is a great Flash presentation which keeps it simple

    Mike, talking about Stockholm and mobile communities I also came accross another Swedish company The Mobile Life http://www.themobilelife.com who seems to do well. I briefly met the foudner Christopher Magnani who said their main focus is the larger developing countries like India, China, Brazil but also getting a foot into US. I kind of like the simple approach they took when they started with a mobile dating service, brilliantly called Speedflirt. I believe these guys will make it big! ref http://www.speedflirt.com
