Streamed web ads as effective as television

Brand Republic reports that video advertising on the internet has the same impact as television advertising, this has been proved via a new study.
The study was carried out on behalf of Pfizer Healthcare, from advertising it ran on MSN Video. The ads, promoting Pfizer Consumer Healthcare products, ran during news, sports and entertainment programming on MSN Video.
Research, carried out by Millward Brown, found that the ads streamed on the net were equally effective as television advertising in generating brand interest and conveying a distinctive and memorable message, as well as influencing viewers.
